The interior design project for Yandex’s office in the ARMA complex is built upon a dialogue between history and technology. This former industrial site, with its expressive architecture and rich heritage, provides the foundation for a contemporary workplace where the historical context is not erased but reinterpreted. The interior becomes a point of intersection between the past, the present, and the future, bringing together the site's legacy, engineering culture, and innovation.

Functionally, the space is divided into two interconnected areas: an office zone and a production zone. The office is designed for everyday work, collaboration, and relaxation, while the production area is dedicated to the maintenance and servicing of autonomous delivery robots. This coexistence highlights the inseparable connection between digital technologies and real engineering processes, where ideas take on physical form.

The design draws inspiration from the interiors of 20th-century scientific research institutes—rational, honest in their construction, and enriched with distinctive details. Curved metal elements, wooden shelving, glass blocks, exposed engineering systems, and functional furniture are reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Familiar materials and forms create a sense of continuity, honoring the legacy of engineering while revealing the human side of advanced technology.

The concept is based on the idea of a warm, inviting workplace—a cozy environment that encourages communication and a sense of belonging. The interior evokes the comfort of home through soft ambient lighting, natural materials, a variety of seating arrangements, and informal spaces for meetings and relaxation. Rather than conveying the atmosphere of a conventional corporate office, the space promotes openness, comfort, and focused work.

The contrast between the industrial architecture of ARMA, the warmth of the interior, and the high-tech production area becomes the project's defining feature. Historical elements and contemporary engineering solutions come together to create the image of a new-generation workplace—a place where technology feels more human, and where the working environment inspires research, creativity, and collaboration.
